Hi, my name is Erika. I am a full-time student. I enjoy hiking and reading good books. My favorite author is Neil Gaiman. I enjoy almost all of his work, from his children's books to his full novels. I'm also a huge fan of the Harry Potter series.

After finishing my education, I would like to work with an organization that is developing new and innovative ways to deliver healthcare to people where they are. This is especially important in areas of the world where hospitals and medical centers are scarce. Getting easy-to-use health tools and information into the hands of people can save many lives. I believe in supporting organizations that are working toward that goal. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (http://www.gatesfoundation.org/) is one such organization, and there are many more out there.
