Erik Boneff is the Regional Director of Development of Western States for the University of Michigan. Here, he helps "pay it forward" by helping students receive an affordable education. As a major gifts officer for Arizona, Texas, and New Mexico, Erik oversees a portfolio over 100-150 clients, securing donations in the 5,6, and 7 figure range.

Erik Boneff received his undergraduate degree in 2012 from Shimer College, where he received his B.A. in Social Sciences. He is currently pursuing a Master's in Higher Education Management & Organizations from the University of Michigan, and is passionate about broadening his horizon through learning.

One of the leading factors behind Erik's venture into a career in higher education is his awareness of the importance of soft skills in any career field. After rubbing shoulders with many business executives and CEOs, Erik Boneff is passionate about introducing people to the intrinsic importance of college as a tool for developing the growth, wisdom, and upright nature of the student.
