The Situation, directed by Jonathan Tucker, in which Erik is the lead won both ‘Best Feature’ and the ‘Audience Choice’ awards at the 2006 Martha Vineyard African-American Film Festival. The short film Thicker Than Water, directed by Anissa Folley won 7 awards out of 11 at several film festivals during the 2011 year; again, Erik was the lead.
On television Erik has appeared on Sex and The City, All My Children, As The World Turns, One Life To Live, Law and Order, The Americans.
Erik loves playing the dramatic roles, but he also loves playing the comedic roles. You can view his comedic work in Tony Clomax's 12 Steps To Recovery (webseries - episode 18 & 19) and Damian Bailey's The Big Wes.

Erik’s stage presence is commanding and extraordinary! You can't help but pay rapt attention. His theater credits include A Soldiers' Play, Exonerated Tambourines to Glory, Pendemonium, Always Love You, When A Woman Loves A Man, Disappearance of Ashantawaa, and Minotaur.
