I am a solution architect working in the space where telecom and social networking meet. Prior to my 9+ years in telecom I built web applications and services for non-profits and educational institutions using open-source solutions.

We recently moved to Vashon from Seattle. Twenty two minutes to downtown but a different world. Deer in our yard, cider from our apples, and black berries beneath which hide whole epochs of civilization. Did I mention the hardware store loans you tools? I love it.

I've also been known to be a maker of things: chicken coops, tansu chests, woodcut prints and micro-controller powered Christmas gifts.
