Hello! My name is Erik and I quit my job of five years to go back to school! Okay, there’s more to the story than that just that but that’s essentially what has happened!

During the Dot Com Boom I was in middle school and found myself learning HTML via Netscape on a Pentium 1 IBM desktop. For a number of years afterwards, I built websites for fun and as an independent contractor.

Eventually I found myself in the life insurance industry. Here I did everything under the sun; ranging from being licensed in forty states to helping establish an information system to improve customer service performance.

At the end of the day, whatever I was doing, I enjoyed bridging the game between people and technology. Thanks to some convincing friends, I’ve taken the leap and found myself back at school as a declared Management Information Systems (MIS) major. I am working a full time job elsewhere now to pay the bills as I tackle five classes.

I love talking to ambitious human beings (along with cats and dogs), improving what lies in front of us, and making dreams a reality.
