You found .me! My name Erik Thomas and I'm just an average guy with a not so average life. Married to my beautifuly amazing wife Jamie and 3 wonderful children I spend my days helping companies grow.

Currently I spend my time traveling, attending IRCE, coaching, mentoring, consulting and not taking life too seriously. My newest love - Getter.io

Long long ago.....

I began my career in 1996 right when the web was transitioning from the blinking under-construction gifs, to a vehicle for enhancing a brands image. Back then there was no Dreamweaver, no web 2.0, just a pathetic CoffeeCup HTML editor, Photoshop 4.0 and lovely FrontPage 97. Originally pursuing a degree in Graphic design, I realized I had an itch for coding as well. Already halfway through my schooling, I decided that programming was wayyy cooler and would allow me to where awesome nerdy glasses. :{

Along the way my passion for design stayed strong even while recognizing the incredible need for website designs, I launched my first company (webflavors, LLC ), giving smaller business’s a one stop shop for design and implementation. Fast forward a few years later and I have mastered many popular languages (Java, VB, VB.NET, JavaScript, PHP, ect), as well as learning system architecture and design. Although I would code for my “job”, I would design for my hobby, creating this sort of hybrid connoisseur, able to take on things companies were sometimes fearful to do since these often came with a hefty price tag.

Because of my constant drive for innovative projects, passion for digital marketing and all things internet, I have developed skills that would require years of schooling to teach, allowing me to deal with every level of the user experience. I think creating a website, designing a mobile app, increasing conversion rates --- these are all just words that represent a much bigger task at hand. Understanding the financial goals of these efforts, incorporating the human factors, taking into account the business and user’s perspectives, these must all come together in a perfectly balanced solution.

Ecommerce isn’t just driving visitors to a sexy website. It is solving problems and improving what already exists.
