1. If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your perspective on it.
2. Failure is good for you. Learn from your failures. If you're not failing, you're not pushing yourself hard enough.
3. Learn, and do not stop trying to learn. Imagine if you were given an endless supply of ice cream (ignore obesity issues here). Would you not take it? Knowledge is like an endless supply of ice cream.
4. It's good to spend time with yourself. Learn to be independent and value the time you have to yourself.
5. Take care of yourself. If you can't take care of yourself, you most certainly won't be able to take care of others. Do this by getting enough sleep, exercise, and mentally check in with yourself once in a while.
6. Be fair to yourself. Your present self, and your future self.
7. Life is waking up an hour earlier to live an hour more.
