Erin Rafferty
Murrieta
My name is Erin Rafferty and here's my life in a nutshell.
The most significant part of my childhood was being part of team sports and being involved in school activities. I played softball most of my life and I learned more life lessons through the game than I thought possible. I also learned a lot about myself as I became president of the student spirit and involvement group. I knew I wanted to connect people to each other and make lasting relationships with others.
When I started college, I originally wanted to be an English teacher. After one round of English classes, I realized I wanted to do more than teach the same lesson plan every year, rather I wanted to be in a field where it was new information every year.
I decided to be a Journalism major my sophomore year of college as I was looking to transfer to a 4 year university after 2 years at the community college level. I fell in love with my major. It's more than being a reporter, you learn skills that will help benefit any business or company you might work for.
I had a passion for sports and online media. I usually took every opportunity I could to incorporate baseball into all of my school projects if my professors approved.
I graduated in May 2012 and since then I have been looking for the best way and places to exercise my skill set. I am currently a marketing assistant and know I could help many businesses succeed in their marketing campaigns.
A little more personal view of my life, I am getting married this October. I have a mixed breed dog that I love, we also have 2 horses. I love baseball.
