Erin Weed

Boulder, Colorado, United States

Erin Weed is an award-winning entrepreneur, speaker, author, columnist and media personality. Since 2001, her work has been featured on CNN, Fox News, The New York Times and The Washington Post.

With a background in PR and documentary production, Erin founded her first company at age 22 called Girls Fight Back after the murder of Erin's college friend. Teaching the virtues of self-protection and self-reliance in a comedic way, GFB became a seminar, book, national magazine column for CosmoGirl and online crusade joined by over one million people. Erin sold GFB to Kirkland Productions in August 2013 after twelve kick ass years. (literally)

Driven to help people identify and spread their authentic truth and create profitable platforms of influence, Erin moved on to launch evoso. A communications agency specializing in thought leadership, evoso represents public faces and voices working to change the world. She is a speaking coach for global TED and Ignite events, and is currently writing her second book, The Art + Business of Thought Leadership.
