Hi, my name is Erin, and I have always been a little bit obsessed with clothes.

Not in a classic, designers-and-labels kind of a way. Not even in hip fashion blogger kind of a way, (though I wish I could be that cool.) I'm obsessed with the way clothes are made--What do we make them with? Where do we make them? Who makes them?--because my family has been in the textile business for almost 90 years. (Ask me about my secret skill: accurately guessing the fineness of wool by touch only. It's a fun party trick.)

So far, I've had a career with a focus on innovation and finding new ways to market things. Now, I'm trying to apply this thinking to one of the oldest and most enduring fibers on the planet to bring it into the 21st century: wool.
