Erin Berry

Hello there, and nice to meet you! My name is Erin and I am a big dreamer born and raised in Lancaster County, PA. {right now you are picturing farmland aren't you?}

Here's the thing about me, growing up I struggled with determining if I was(a) left-brained or (b) right-brained. The older I become the more I am realizing I am (c) all of the above. I excel in math, in fact love it so much that I took EXTRA math classes in high school and majored in it in college. I also loved art. Drawing, painting, mixed media, and of course I found my true love in photography. I found myself in college renting the DSLR to go on shoots and realized my creative side was still a strong driving force. Fast forward eight years, a marriage and two kids later and I have finally purchased my Nikon D5300, and I will never look back.

I had the same problem with this introvert vs. extrovert crap. I have been told I am a social butterfly, outgoing and happy-go lucky- total extrovert material. In my eyes, I am socially awkward, clumsy, shy and easily embarrassed- definitely introverted. So what am I? I'll stick with this: a creative, awkward, introverted extrovert.

I like just watching. Watching for the right moment, the right light, the right emotion, and then "snap". Capturing it forever. This rings true for not only my own family but for my clients as well. Posed portraits are beautiful but nothing beats capturing a natural smile or belly laugh.
