Erin B. White
I am a senior at the University of Washington, graduating inJune. I’m studying Comparative History of Ideas and Communication withInterdisciplinary Honors. I studied abroad twice – once in the rural IndianHimalayas and the second time in Prague.
In my time at UW, I’ve been involved in many clubs. I was aFirst Year Interest Group Leader for two years, in which I taught incomingfreshmen the ins and outs of the university and Seattle. I am also a member ofSigma Kappa Sorority, and in 2013 I served as chapter president. In 2014 Iserved as the Vice President of Operations for the Panhellenic Association,which is the governing board for all the sororities on campus.
Professionally, I have worked in three offices in an administrativerole. I worked at the UW Office of Admissions, a small worker’s compensationlaw firm, and the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. I am also a tourguide for the University, and I have worked in that role for three years.
I have a passion for traveling, love pugs, and find humor inthe world around me. I consider myself a realistic optimist. My friends andfamily are extremely important to me, and a perfect day would be spent withthem and a good book by a lake in the North Cascades.
