Ambition typically drives one to focus intensely on the future. I know because I've been there (and return there from time to time). But what I am striving for is the ambition to be fully present in the now. This is the life I projected from my childhood. It is acutally happening right now. My career as the founder of a startup, my family growing up all around me, my faith - it is all a very current experience. Living it and loving it, now.
