Canadian singer, Erin Fisher, started a career in opera at age 22, singing with the Canadian Opera Company’s Studio Ensemble for three years as a solo artist. Miss Fisher is a British Columbia native and a graduate of UBC, where she received a bachelor degree in music, majoring in opera performance.

Miss Fisher has had the privilege of working with many of the world's top opera professionals. For years she trained with world-class coaches, teachers, conductors, and directors and sang along side world-famous opera singers. She has performed nationally in Canada and Internationally in the USA and Europe.

Interestingly, Fisher grew up singing pop, classical, jazz and musical theatre. She was introduced to opera at university; where she saw her first-ever opera, performed by fellow students. Fisher's journey in opera equipped her with a solid vocal foundation and discipline, but after her third year with the Canadian Opera Company, she felt that opera was not her ultimate calling. She took a break from opera, did some soul-searching, grew spiritually, discovered her deep love for teaching voice and piano, and has pursued this new passion for several years, and continues to teach.

In 2015, Fisher joined the classical-crossover & opera trio ViVA. She is excited to blend her first love of popular and classic songs with her operatic technique.
