Erin Gilbertson

At Prime Designs, I work as a Senior Architectural Technician, preparing working drawings and building consent packages, as well as overseeing projects and supporting the wider team of technicians.

I have experience across both documentation and some on-site work, which has shaped my approach to producing clear, practical plans that builders can easily work from. I’m particularly interested in creating homes that are not only visually appealing, but also efficient to build—focusing on smart, effective solutions rather than overcomplicating things.

I enjoy the problem-solving side of the role and take pride in delivering well thought-out, buildable designs that work in the real world.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me making the most of the outdoors—whether that’s at the beach or out tramping and hunting in the hills.
