I'm a user experience architect and the co-founder of Known.

Previously I ran a user experience consultancy. I support and use open source technology, and Known is based on an open source core.

Some of my favorite artists are Matisse, Feng Zhengjie, and Andrea Zittel. I'm also fascinated by areas like psychology, human information processing, usability, sustainability, and architecture.

I'm from southern Oregon originally, and I now live in San Francisco by way of Los Angeles and Portland. I studied cognitive science in college, along with literature, dance, and environmental design.
