As a Career Center Specialist, it is my job to welcome KU students to the University Career Center. I help fellow students polish their resumes when they submit them to the Resume Drop Box, post available jobs to career.ku.edu, and manage the schedules of all our Career Coaches.
I was born and raised in Kansas and have lived there my whole life. I have a mom, dad, and older sister. Along with my family, I have a golden retriever named Izzy. Not only do I love her, but I also love just about any dog I come into contact with. Big dogs, small dogs, ugly dogs, cute dogs, I love them all.
Currently at KU, I am in the School of Social Welfare. I am planning on getting my Master's Degree and Clinical Lisence at KU as well. If all goes right, with those degrees I will be counseling people who have eating disorders in a private practice setting.
One campus activity I am involved in besides working at the Univeristy Career Center is being a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. I am currently on the Executive Board and am the Fraternity Education chair for our chapter's council.
In my free time, I love being outside with friends. I love walking down the streets of Tennessee and Kentucky for an afternoon stroll during the fall and seeing the leaves changing. I also enjoy staying active any chance I get. day. I also am a HUGE KU basketball fan. I love watching the games but what I love even more is being at the games in Allen Fieldhouse
