Growing up in a typical American home where meat was always the main dish, I never quite felt comfortable reconciling loving the presence and comfort of companion animals while consuming others. Unbeknownst to me, this is an all too typical conundrum that is experienced by most compassionate souls.

After finally making the connection in my late teens, I resolved to never again partake in the atrocities that are so expertly hidden from the public. The Age of the Internet has made discovering the truth so much easier; a simple Youtube search exposes the meat, dairy, and egg industries for what they are (among many others).

But it doesn't stop there. The animal rights and liberation movements have been gaining steam and we sense it'll be coming to a head very soon. I seek to educate and make visible the hidden underbelly of this issue. Human liberation is just as important, for once we realize that our very minds have been enslaved, then we can make the appropriate steps to rectify this very grave and massive wrong. To liberate ourselves spiritually, mentally, and morally with the very tools given to us by those who seek to keep us all in our respective cages.
