Erin Meadors

Attorney in Washington, DC

As a Louisiana native, I moved to the District of Columbia to attend college. After graduation, I worked an array of part-time and odd jobs to make ends meet. Since then, I have spent the past 19 years working in either the federal or local government. After learning the law after work, I graduated from the nation's premier night school in 2021 and am excited about exploring my career trajectory in the legal profession. While I remain in public service, as in-house counsel my portfolio is focused on matters subject to litigation, especially in and around employment law.

I am an active alumni volunteer, supporting my university campus and its alumni association through event programming, communication, fundraising, mentoring, networking, and other engagement efforts.

I am a Pisces who somewhat "recently" learned to swim. I enjoy a traditional Catholic Mass (shout out to the Louisiana Creole massive and Pope Leo with the Black mama); basketball games where players still box-out for a rebound; playing country music on a jukebox; and people-watching. I also love spending time at home in Slidell, Louisiana, better connecting with family and dear friends, most of whom I saw infrequently for nearly 20 years. Thanks for taking time to learn more about mE! Cheers to the dirt roads, backwoods, and tributaries that brought us together!
