Erin Parsonage

Currently I am a student in the Bachelor of Journalism program at Ryerson University. I recently moved back to my native city after studying in Montreal for three years at McGill University and the Université de Montréal. Having lived in two of the greatest cties in Canada it'll come as no surprise I am a huge hockey fan. Go Leafs! (Pardonnez-moi Canadiens!)

I have grown up dabbling in almost every sport from swimming to baseball to rugby, and all those inbetween. I follow tennis and cricket (though I can not play). But above all else, I am a romantic for sailing. I have helped build sail boats in the Netherlands and Barbados. I have raced in most of the major regattas our side of Lake Ontario and the St.Lawrence River. I even moved to Montreal via Toronto's youth trainging brigantine, Pathfinder.

As i complete my undergrad I plan to specialize in sports journalism and broadcasting. Hopefully one day I will cover both the winter and summer Olympic games.

Till then, TSN and CBC sports are on the horizon!
