Erin Waid

I am an endodontist based in Salem, Oregon, with a background that spans nursing, research, and advanced dentistry. My career has been shaped by a strong interest in patient care and a desire to understand the science behind treatment. I began by earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Portland, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from Seattle University, where I trained as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Early in my career, I worked in clinical research and dermatology, which gave me a broad foundation in healthcare. Over time, I realized I was drawn to more technical, procedure-based work. That led me to pursue my Doctor of Dental Medicine at Oregon Health and Science University, where I also completed my specialty training in endodontics.

Today, I focus on diagnosing and treating dental pain, infections, and complex cases involving the inner tooth. I value precision, problem-solving, and helping patients feel more comfortable during treatment. My approach is shaped by my diverse experience and a commitment to continuous learning, with the goal of improving outcomes and providing thoughtful, patient-centered care.
