Erin Zacherl

Erin Zacherl is the Principal at Maplewood Elementary School in Townville, PA. She also is a graduate student at Gannon University pursuing a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction.

Before becoming a principal, Erin was a classroom teacher with experiences ranging from facilitating a K-12 gifted program to teaching pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, first and fifth grades. She also spent a year as a technology instructional coach where she found her passion in leading and encouraging student-centered instruction.

Erin holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with certifications in elementary and early-childhood education from Clarion University of PA as well as a Master of Education in Special Education from Slippery Rock University of PA. Most recently, Erin completed Educational Leadership Studies at Gannon University to obtain a K-12 principal certification.
