About the Resident Chef :
(Home Celebrity Mom Chef, just wild-dreaming)
I’m a wife to my IT guy Ricky and a mother to my X- Pop-star and Hollywood Actress dreamer, now changed to becoming a doctor, Ruth and future celebrity chef and scientist, Nicole, – my two lovely girls. I’ m passionate about cooking for my family and hopefully for my future foodshop, but for now my food blog. I’m a graduate of Accountancy. Had myself employed and worked in several companies in the Philippines. Migrated to Singapore last 2009. From then on I started missing Filipino food. Cravings and pricey simple Pinoy foods here in Singapore pushed me to cook my own versions of those “nom-nom” classic country-home bites to satisfy my family’s hungry tummies.
I realize, the only time I’d ever find time to write, bake and cook is in the morning. When all is quiet and and all are sleeping. A small time frame for myself before my future doctor, future celebrity chef cum scientist and my IT guy needs me. My own creative time. The other side of me, apart from being full time wife and mom. Taking care of the family is so much work that even finding a time to do what relaxes you most is quite challenging at times. That’s why I have to consciously make the effort to work on me. If I want to get things done and get myself inspired, I need to work on and try my sudden idea that pops in to my mind. And seems like wee hours and after sending the kids to school are the way to go.That way I can take better care of my IT guy Ricky, my X- Pop-star and Hollywood Actress dreamer, now changed to becoming a doctor, Ruth and future celebrity chef and scientist, Nicole.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed being a WIFE and MOM. But there are times when I find myself wanting to do something creative. Something that involves art. Something that will boost my self-esteem. To be moved, inspired and be encouraged. I think we all need these in in life. To have something for ourselves to function really well everyday. To re-fuel our creative energies and be productive. There so much out here in life. Time to explore and share it.
