Ermin Dedić

I'm not some successful businessman. I'm not a famous person who you can find on the top of the list when you type a name in a search bar. I'm just a young, ambitious and humble student who just started to live a life in the open world. I finished both primary and high school back in my hometown Novi Travnik, and never got a chance to see more and to travel far away to see a difference. I lived my life in darkness, until one day. The day I started volunteering. A few youth organisations showed me the way. I never knew anything about this. I thought it was foolish to do things without getting anything back, but I had to give it a try. I was bored with my life so I had to do something, and this decision was a good one. I started doing things I never even dreamed about before. I started meeting new people from around the country, and in a few months, people from all around the world started do jump on my friend list. I started going places too. I visited some amazing parts of my country and even crossed the border for the first time in my life. All that in just one year, while I was graduating from high school. And what then? College! I chose mathematics and informatics. I had to chose my path, but I never gave up on volunteering. Now, I'm in college and it has just started. I'm in my first year. It's going well and I have a good feeling about this. The rest is up to me. This may not be much, but I'm still young, and I hope I'll have something else to say in a few years.
