My Mission

I'm Ernesta Gibbs, founder of Leagual Designs Retail and advocate for emotional and spiritual wellness. I've witnessed firsthand and personally experienced the impact of trauma on families particularly on mothers and children affected by criminal and violent intent.

Through Leagualscript Writing & Publishing@Friends of LFSCVI community (League of Female Survivors of Criminal & Violent Intent), I support justice and healing for women navigating the aftermath of trauma. I believe in empowerment through personal growth, self-discipline, and the courage to reclaim one's narrative.

Fashion as Expression

Leagual Designs Retail is the creative expression of this mission—a lifestyle brand for women who see their clothing as more than fabric. The themed collections and original printed designs celebrate strength, transformation, and triumph.

Advocacy & Creative Arts

Beyond fashion, I'm exploring legislative advocacy for reformed ex-prisoners in Barbados, working toward policies that promote rehabilitation, victim empowerment, and anti-recidivism measures aligned with international human rights standards.
