Ernesto Priego

I'm a Lecturer in Library Science at the Centre for Information Science, City University London.

My main areas of interest are the past, present and future of publishing, graphic and multimodal narrative, digital libraries, the digital humanities, information studies, journalism.

I've got a PhD in Information Studies (University College London) and my background is in cultural studies (UEA Norwich) and English literature (UNAM).

I am passionate about practical and theoretical issues around the effects of digital technology on humanities research.

I initiated and co-organised the formation of The Comics Grid, a researcher-led open-access journal of comics scholarship dedicated to encouraging web-based research on graphic narrative. I'm a member of the LibTech committee of the Open Library of Humanities.

I do a bunch of other things. To find out more about me you can start here.
