Ernest Wasake is a communications consultant, media personality and entrepreneur. He has over 6 years of experience in the communications field having worked with PR agencies, media houses, multinationals, and international donor agencies offering services such as communications strategy development; campaign management (CSR, Marketing) and creative media support.
In 2009 Ernest was hired as a Senior Account Manager at The Media Analyst - one of Uganda's largest PR Agencies handling the MTN Uganda account - Africa’s largest telecommunications company.
Ernest is a media consultant/personality who has worked with leading media houses including The New Vision Group, Vision Voice Radio, Radio One Fm90, Touch Fm, Crooze FM, and NBS TV where he grew brand aspects from communications strategy to operations management & setup.
In 2011, Ernest was a contestant in Africa's biggest Reality TV show - Big Brother Africa, where he Garnered Africa wide support as the ‘charming African.’
Ernest was hired as a Communications Consultant on an inaugural anti domestic violence / anti child defilement campaign sponsored by the United States (U.S) Department of State for the Ugandan Police Force where he recruited corporate sponsorship & celebrity endorsements for the unique public outreach campaign.
In 2003 Ernest Received a World Bank Institute Award in a program - ‘Youth For Good Governance' for contributing to the development of an anti corruption matrix.
Ernest holds a Bachelor of Arts Social Sciences (BASS) with a major in International Relations from Makerere University, Uganda (East Africa)
Ernest is currently a radio presenter/ media consultant with Crooze Fm - western Uganda's biggest urban-youth radio.
At home and all-about, Ernest is a worldly Deejay and goes by the alias 'Eezzy' and can be found behind the decks spinning a cocktail of music from kampala to kuala lumpur.
