I am Ernst Thomas Sumit King also known as Sumit Roy King from Hyderabad, India, associated with the Film & Television industry for past 16 years. I kick started my career with modeling and moved into theatre, television and feature films. I have won 'Mr. Talent ' award for Ambica Star 2000 Contest, a competition held by Sri Raghavendra Movie Corporation on Gemini TV and was adjudged by Dr. D. Ramanaidu, also won ' Best Supporting Actor ' award twice for 2012/13 for 'Raktha Sambandham ' serial in Telugu.

Open to the mode of entertainment, I have worked right from the stage performances, music videos, regional television, and national television to the mainstream feature films. I have essayed roles as varied as negative, supporting and lead roles. My endeavor to pursue a career as a multifaceted actor led me to the field of Direction and crossover film genre which is both challenging, addressing the cultural conflict and leading to meaningful movie making.

I have worked as an actor under Prominent Directors such as Mani Shanker (16 December/ Mukhbir fame), Sana Yadi Reddy (Bachelors fame), Puri Jagannath (Pokiri fame), Jayanth C Paranjay ( Preminchukundam raa fame ), Nidhi Prasad ( Andaru Dongaley ...Dorikithey fame) and also with Ms. Manjula naidu, Mohan Koda, P.C.Reddy, Manik Raju, Kutumba Rao, Anish Daniel, Meer, Anil Kumar , Vijay Bhasker Reddy, Rajeev Prasad, Sanjeev more and many more.

Acting being my main line of expertise, I have penned scripts for regional television series, such as “A.G.E.N.C.I.E.", for Zee Telugu that was aired in the year 2005. I have also Written and Directed ‘Ek Chatur Naar’, a commercial feature film in Hindi that released in 2008. Sauten (Bhojpuri Feature Film) which ran into Silver Jubilee in 2009 and Sharaabi (Bhojpuri Feature Film) in 2010. Love Junction (Telugu Feature Film) in 2013.

Presently, I look at myself as an Actor - Writer - Director - Executive Producer and a Film Maker with expertise in various departments right from concept to business.
