E. Robert Dunn
I began my career in the allied health field in 1987 after becoming certified with the AFAA and eventually becoming a certification Specialist. I continued my education and successfully earned a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Communication and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Exercise Science and Wellness from FAU as well as a Master of Science in Health Science from Stafford University. I also hold memberships from AFAA in Group Exercise Leadership, STEP Aerobics, Weight-Room Training and from the ACSM as a Health and Fitness Instructor. I have dedicated my life to health and fitness, and continues to uphold the highest standards of education. After eight years as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist for Broward General Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, I worked as a Health Educator with the Broward Country Department of Health [specializing in HIV/AIDS Education] before joining the faculty of FCNH as a massage therapy instructor in 2001. From FCNH, I then moved on to become an administrator at Everglades University in the Allied Health/Alternative Medicine Department. Currently, I am an educator of western human science courses at the Atlantic Institute of Orient Medicine [ATOM] in Fort Lauderdale, FL. and a Program Chair for UMA's Spa Managment AS degree program. I have also lectured for many years on the topic of HIV/AIDS as well as being a certified CPR instructor.
Somehow, through my busy schedule as a dedicated teacher, fitness expert, and HIV/AIDS advocate I have managed to become a celebrated author. I have several Science Fiction books and Off-Broadway Plays under my belt. I am also the founder of 2 non-profits: ArtsUnited, Inc., and WatchOutWeb.com Charities. In 2004, I was nominated for the Encore Awards as Artist of the Year by ArtServe & won the ACCSCT Instructor of the Year Award. In 2007, I was award the FAPSC Instructor of the Year. In addition, I have health and fitness articles published via online newsletters, magazines, et al. on a regular basis. In addition, I have decades of acting credits under my given name: Eston Dunn.
