Erode Nagaraj

Erode Nagaraj is a professional player of the Mrudangam instrument. He is a prime disciple of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Padma Vibhushan of Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman. He learned initially from Palladam V. Ramachandran.

Nagaraj is an “A” grade artiste and works as Lecturer in The Music Academy, Chennai since 1998. He has won many awards and accompanied most of the leading artistes like Shri P.S.Narayanaswamy, Chengalpattu Ranganathan, M.chandrasekaran, O.S.Thyagarajan, Neyveli Santhanagopalan, Vijay Siva, Sikkil Sisters, Malladi Brothers, Gayathri Venkataraghavan and Ranjani Gayathri.

Nagaraj has been a lecturer in the Thanjavur Vaidyanatha Iyer School for Percussion in Chennai. He also conducts online classes for performers and students in the United States, United Kingdom, France and other countries. Contact: @
