Errol Christie

I’m a former professional boxer and was the captain of England boxing team from 80'-83.’ In 83,' I was the European Champion and am still the Guinness World Record holder for the most amateur boxing title wins. I co-wrote a book about my life, “No Place to Hide: How I put the Black in Union Jack,” in 2010.

I love boxing and met a lot of famous people over the years. Right now, I am working as a personal trainer at Gymbox in Bank & Holborn. I run boxing classes weekly and train clients.

My sport gave me the determination and discipline to achieve what I did in the 80's. In the future, I would like to continue talking to kids about getting involved in sport because it is another way for them to move forward in life.
