Errol Sykes

Errol Sykes arrived on the scene, making his birth debut in Barcelona, Spain. His mixed parentage is credited to a Filipino mother and an Indonesian father. Sykes moved to Amsterdam (in the Netherlands) and this new locale gave him a new birth. That new birth included his experience as an inspiration speaker of global range who is moving into the motivational speaking arena, a recording artist and inspiring author. All of his work cross-pollinates and focuses on moving his audiences toward personal growth, ambition and decisive action.

He opens himself up to new experiences, while holding fast to never-ending internal and other directed inspiration. His platform includes two independent studio albums, a DVD, and the forthcoming launch of his book, “The Sykes Factor.”

Sykes has parlayed his journalism degree into work a popular radio show host on a program targeted to students and young professionals. This platform lends a voice to youngsters, where they can express their opinions and ideas about a variety of relevant hot button topics for their demographic.

Sykes' skill-set continues to expand, as he has gained extensive experience researching and interviewing, writing and fact-checking. His work has allowed him to glean insight into the challenges that his contemporaries face. Through his careful analysis of interview subjects, he has discovered a common denominator amongst them that led to him to begin questioning public opinion.

The globe-trotter finds that his comfort zone and exposure to the unknown are constantly under challenge, but as he exposes himself to the locals and their culture at each new territory the borders of his life and mind continually expand. Self-discovery has been one of the fruits of his openness, so much so that he has seen many doors open for him in terms of relationships and business ventures.

Sykes has found ways to actually enjoy this process, including the discomfort. He has learned from his mistakes, and offers his errors as cautionary tales from which his audiences can learn.

Sykes promotes the notion that we are put on this planet to explore our talents and to operate at our full potential. He believes that it’s necessary, not only for ourselves, but also for our friends and families.
