Erwin Tanjuaquio

Erwin R. Tanjuaquio followed a call from God to plant River of God USA Church in Daly City, California in May 2011 and serves as it's pastor. River of God USA is the first USA church plant of River of God Philippines, founded in 2002, by Bishop Augusto "Chito" Sanchez and his wife, Pastor Rachel Sanchez. Erwin served as an Associate Pastor and Youth Pastor of Bridgepoint Community Church (Word International Ministries) from 2005 to 2010. Erwin has been married 25 years to wife Marissa, and is blessed with their 21-year old son, Milano Christian.

Erwin is a partner and minister of Prayer TV Publishing House, a Christian Inspirational television ministry, founded by Prophet Victor Ojieh. Erwin is a regular speaker at the San Francisco State University's Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship. Erwin is also the Youth Camp director for the Bay Camp Encounter Christian Youth Camp, which was launched in 2010.

Erwin retired from the City and County of San Francisco's Redevelopment Agency on September 1, 2007, culminating 30 years of distinguished and exemplary public service and professional work. Erwin served as the Agency's Corporate Office until his retirement, and in this capacity, served at the pleasure of the Mayor-appointed seven-member Agency Commission. Erwin began his tenure at the Redevelopment Agency as an Urban Planner & Graphics Designer for the first 22 years of is professional and public service career. From 1998 to 2010, Erwin served on Mayor Willie Brown and Gavin Newsom's San Francisco-Manila Sister City Committee (CAC) as a representative of Mayor Gavin Newsom's office.

Erwin is the Chief Financial Officer and Vice-President of C-Group Global Systems, LLC, an international security services firm, providing security, protection, training, education and consulting products and services.

Erwin is a life-long resident of the San Francisco Bay Area and is an active participant in local politics and civic endeavors, as well as providing leadership roles in Filipino-American community in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Since his retirement from the City and County of San Francisco in 2007, Erwin has been in full-time church ministry and is a regular speaker at various Christian churches in California and around the country.
