Esame Mondoa is the Founder and Chief executive officer of Zito Financial a Cameroon based fintech company working towards achieving financial inclusion for Cameroon and CEMAC.
Growing up in the rural community of Muyuka where farming and petty trading were the main activities that characterize the community, 90% of all businesses fell in the informal sector and had no access to traditional financial services.
He saw the need to provide access to financial instruments and services to everyone, the exclusion of payment systems to these segments was a worry to be resolved.
Founded in 2015 Zito Financial after years of research and development launched its first solution in Jan 2018. Zitocard is a prepaid visa card that can be reloaded/recharged using MTN mobile money and Orange money. It can be used worldwide in all locations where traditional visa cards are accepted.
Together with his team, Esame built Zitopay which is a fusion of bill payments, remittances, money transfers and TV subscriptions. Zito Financial has built a network of 17,000+ users.
Outside his Entrepreneur circle, Esame is a Community Leader, Teacher and Mentor.
