Sedina Akoto

My name is Laurentia Sedina Akoto. Where Sedina (Sedi, in short) is my Ewe middle name. Ewe (the English form) or Evegbe is a language spoken by the Ewe people found in parts of the southern belts of Ghana, Togo and the Republic of Benin. I still can’t pin down its translation in English. But for now I’d simply say it depicts one of God’s characters (perhaps a future blog topic). Secondly, Anyigba is also Ewe, which means, “ground” or “earth”. I chose “earth” for my blog hence the title “Sedi’s Earth” or Sedi’s Anyigba.
Sedi’s Anyigba is a space I’ve created to download my perspective on things that I love – my appreciation for the earth, its provisions and nature’s beauty; creative things including design, art, and artisanry; lifestyle; food; Africa and travels; and hot topics that stare me at the moment (you may encounter a lot of those)
So stay tuned and lets thread this “Anyigba” together!
