Esethu Gobeni

Hey there ,I am Esethu Gobeni a third year student doing B.ed in senior phase and FET. I was born the West rand of Gautang ,Randfontain in 1996, therefore I am 24 years of age. I matriculated in 2015 but could not find an institution in Eastern Cape then applied at the university of Johannesburg during my gap year and I was accepted. In B.ed my majors are English and Addressing Neurodevelopmental Learning Needs (NDL). English was always one of my favorite subjects in schools because of the literature side and its teacher who was my role model because of her character. Ms Mahlatshana made everyone in class feel welcomed and gave assistance when needed without making one feel otherwise. NDL is a module that was first done by the class of 2018. It is about supporting learning needs and promoting and inclusive classroom at all times.

I am a very kind ,shy caring and sensitiveperson that one can come across. On my spare time I love reading novels,drama and sleeping. Before lockdown, on my spare time I used to go to one ofspecial school near my student accommodation Phumla special school to helplearners on their given tasks. This also gives me an insight on how my dailylife will be teaching learners with special needs

In the near future ,I will be doing my dream job which is being the mediator of learning between learners and knowledge, a caring practitioner and an inclusive agent in classroom. It is in my interest that one day I open a school for learners with special needs ,autism in specific because these learners are being discriminated in our society .
