Elaine Settergren

I am a Reference Librarian at the Minnesota Legislative Reference Library. I love being a part of the non-partisan research support team to help inform evidence based public policy making. We primarily provide full service reference services to legislators and their staff, but also answer questions from the public, lobbyists, state agency staff, and folks from the legal community. The Minnesota Legislative Reference Library is the state government documents depository.

Previously, I had been the eLearning Librarian at an Online University. Learning and library technologies have changed a lot over the years and I've enjoyed keeping up. The best part of my job at the online school was helping connect students to the information they need, regardless of the technology they use.
