Ethel Esi Eshun, better known by her stage name eShun, is a Ghanaian Singer, Songwriter, Performer and Recording Artist.
Since her arrival on the music scene, the talented eShun has fascinated many with her unique blend of Highlife and Afro Pop. Music lovers and industry observers across Africa have predicted with excitement that, eShun is on her way to becoming Africa’s Best Female Singer, Songwriter and Performer. She loves to call herself a Musician due to her ability to do all genre of music.
The extremely talented eShun has evolved from a Reality Show Star to a Superstar Songstress. Her vocal range and unique tone makes her completely stand out from her peers. She sings from the heart with passion and flare that is unmatched and incomparable. When you hear her music, you can literally hear her soul sing.
Under the management of Quophimens Musiq, eShun has released 12 singles and 6 music videos to her credit. She also has a Live Performances EP with Calabash Band. eShun performed at the Vodafone African Legends Night 2017 along with the Legendary Kanda Bongoma, Daddy Lumba and Amakye Dede at the Banquet State Hall, Accra – Ghana. She performed at the Vodafone African Legends Night 2016 with the Legendary Yvonne Chaka Chaka at the Banquet State Hall, Accra – Ghana. eShun has performed at major venues and events across the West Coast of Africa.
eShun is a High-Level Supporter for United Nations High Commission on Refugees (UNHCR) West Africa on #Statelessness. She represented Ghana on the #iBelong Song with 3 African Countries Musician to compose and perform a song in Dakar Senegal.
eShun's third Single YOLO was adopted and used as the theme song for a television series YOLO produced by FarmHouse Production. This programme is funded by National Population Authority and UK Aid in partnership with Ghana Education Service, Ghana Health Service and Ghana National Youth Authority.
eShun won the Infinix Central Music Awards 2017 Artiste of the Year. She was nominated in 6 categories in Central Music Awards 2017. She was commissioned by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Ghana to compose and sing a song along with one of Ghana’s Veteran Rappers Okyeame Kwame as part of its objective to develop domestic tourism, through Ghanaian culture and creative arts themed “See, Eat, Wear, Feel Ghana”.
She was commissioned by West Hills Mall to compose a commercial music for radio and television advertisement. She won the CMA Best
