Eric Simone has over twenty-three years of experience in the computer industry. He founded Compete, Inc. in 1994 along with two other IBM colleagues. Compete focused on providing consulting services for IBM’s WebSphere brand of software products. While Eric served as President and CTO, Compete grew to over $12MM in revenues, and was sold to Perficient, Inc. (PRFT NASDAQ) for $63MM in May 2000. The acquisition of Compete introduced the IBM relationship to Perficient, a core component of their business today. Mr. Simone served as a Director of Perficient for three years before founding Girl Next Door in Austin, TX with his wife Toni. He founded ClearBlade in 2007. Mr. Simone graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from Purdue University in 1988.
