Eric Sinclair

I am a software person and project manager focused on collaboration technologies, currently living in Chicago, IL.

I'm interested professionally in assisting individuals and organizations to use synchronous and asynchronous collaboration software and tools to better discover personal and group knowledge, to solve difficult problems (and just communicate).

I have many years of usage and technical experience with collaborative tools, predominantly real time (chat/IM, conferencing and audio/video), but also weblog, wiki, and other asynchronous collaboration tools as work requirements warrant.

I've gathered experience in management of small support and engineering teams, and in project management of both short and long-term projects which cross workgroup and organizational boundaries. As well, in the delivery of technical and cross-divisional evangelism and adoption support for collaboration software.

At various points in my professional career, I've provided internal product management for enterprise collaboration tools, including requirements collection, management and product selection.

In short, I consider myself an affable combination of strong interpersonal skills and technical abilities.
