ESL – Language Travel

Since its inception in the mountains of Switzerland in 1996, ESL has established itself as one of the world’s foremost language travel organisations. Working with carefully selected partner schools in more than 54 countries, ESL offers bespoke language and educational programmes in over 220 destinations.

Inspiring & educating

Our core motivation is helping as many people as possible become fluent in a foreign language. To this end, we have developed a number of innovative ways to inspire and educate. A typical student’s journey begins at one of our free interviews, where we help them define their learning objectives.

Tailor-made learning

In addition to our range of courses in more than 20 languages, we offer summer camps for juniors and teens, gap year immersion programmes, language courses for families and business language courses for professionals. Whatever the language-learning requirement, we can create a tailor-made programme to suit.

All of the staff in our 30+ international offices share a passion for languages. They can offer practical advice and personal support to those studying a language away from home – not just during the programme, but before and afterwards as well.

Award winners

In little more than two decades our ever-evolving organisation has achieved an industry-leading service that has been recognised by a number of awarding bodies. In 2012 we were ranked among the top five European agencies at the STM Awards – for the seventh year running. We were also voted Europe’s STAR agency in both 2010 and 2011 at the LTM Star Awards.
