Eslover Sanchez-Baquero was born in Colombia. He studied at the Escuela Nacional de Arte in La Havana, Cuba, He obtained his Arts Degree, Associate in Arts (actor / stage director) In 1995: also he studied mass media / journalism at Fundacion Universitaria Los Libertadores in Bogota, Colombia.

Eslover started acting at a very early age playing roles in theater in his natal town. In the mid-'90s, He began his professional career playing differents roles in several colombian series and soap operas.

Eslover filmed "Enrique de Lagardere" (2008) for Cubana de television, in Miami, where he played the "Evil Peyroles". One year later, Eslover starred in "Lin Yan". He played the character of Lin Yan, a chinese detective who helps the local authorities to solve mysterious deaths in the city, in 2011 he played Pajarote in "Doña Barbara".
