Erica Solat

Welcome to my page! As you may have noticed, my name is Erica Solat. I am currently a full time student studying in the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I am pursuing a major in Operations and Information Management and a minor in Economics. Within my major, I am most interested in Supply Chain Management. On campus, I currently work as an Administrative Assistant for the Residence Education department.

My interest in business was initially sparked through my start in retail stores at Staples. After getting first hand experience at the final step of the Supply Chain, I am eager to learn about all the decisions made and steps taken at a corporate level that make it possible for in-store associates to do their jobs. My dream is to move forward from my start in the stores and work in Supply Chain at the corporate level for a retail company. I am a very ambitious and driven student who will work hard to reach these goals I have set for myself.

Aside from my passion and ambition for business and Supply Chain Management, I have many other interests. I grew up in Shrewsbury, MA and am a big Boston sports fan, in particular, the Boston Bruins hockey team. My favorite television shows are comedies, such as The Office, Parks and Recreation, and Scrubs. I also love spending time with my friends and family, listening to music, and traveling.
