la mia passione:

When asked to write about my passion I pondered upon three things: What my greatest accomplishments are, what I love to do most in this world, and what I want to do before I die. After comparing all three I have come to the conclusion that my passion is exploring the world and immersing myself in other cultures.

I took my background picture at the Arno river in Pisa, Italy. This was my first international experience on a student exchange trip to Italy. Before going on this trip I never cared about learning other languages or exploring anything outside the New Jersey/New York area. However, this trip changed my life forever. I lived with an Italian family for 10 days and can proudly say that I only spoke Italian in the household during my stay. While I was in Italy I completely immersed myself in the culture, made lifelong friends, and learned more Italian in 10 days than in 2 years worth of class. This experience has inspired me to expand my horizons and search the world for what truly makes me happy.
