Esteban Guerrero Rosero

I am a computer scientist, I am back and forth between two northern cities in Finland and Sweden. I am researcher at the School of Technology and Innovations, Computer Science, University of Vaasa,Finland

My main interests are framed on theoretical foundations of Artificial Intelligence (AI)area with a special focus on multi-agents, rational agents, knowledge representation, and non-monotonic reasoning. I also develop my own prototypes! Part of my research contributions have been evaluated/tested in different application domains: sports science, financial literacy, health-care, ambient intelligence and e-learning.

Currently, I am leading the design and development of an AI-based intelligent persuasive system connected to the Digiconsumers (https://digiconsumers.fi/) project, a multidisciplinary initiative to improve financial skills of young adults in Finland.
I hold a Ph.D. degree in computing science from Umeå University (Sweden), a M.Sc. in computing science from Malmö University (Sweden) and a B.Eng. in electronics and telecommunications from University of Cauca (Colombia).

Currently I am part of the Smart Electric Systems (SES) Research Group at University of Vaasa . Previously I was part of the Interactive and Intelligent Systems at Umeå University - Sweden. I was member of Telematics Engineering research Group GIT at University of Cauca - Colombia and UNVirtual group at National University of Colombia.

I was born in Ipialesa city in Nariño, Colombia.
