Esté Du Preez

My name is Esté Du Preez, born, raised and schooled in Krugersdorp, Gauteng, South Africa. I just finished my BCom Communication Management degree at the beautiful and prestige University of Pretoria. (Q: How do you know if someone is a Tukkie? A: They'll tell you.) I believe that while writing and managing Looks, Hooks and Matchbooks I will be able to learn even more while pursuing a career in Communication Management and Public Relations.

I have a great love for fashion, my mom would say "an expensive taste," but that is only because she was the one who showed me the ropes. When it comes to music, I always find it very difficult to formulate an answer when someone asks me "What music do you like to listen to?", mostly because over the years I have learnt to love artists and their music, not necessarily a genre. Bands I listen to range from Rock, Metal and Alternative, to Hip Hop and Drum and Bass, as well as Big Band. See what I mean?

I have a Chihuahua named Alexa. She is the smartest, cutest dog in the whole entire world, except for when she barks at strangers, but she can't help that she's a Chihuahua. Most of my time is spent with her on my lap, with her snuggled between my legs or with her following me around.

I'm in a wonderful relationship with a wonderful man who has the same values and morals as I do. How lucky am I? God has blessed me with quite an amazing family too. I was raised in a Christian home with a very supportive mother and a father who has showed me where hard work can take you.
