Estefania Juarez

Estefania Juarez is a junior dual degree student in Accounting and Mathematics at Texas Tech University. She is set to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in both Accounting and Mathematics in May of 2018, and is expected to graduate with a Master's in Accounting the following spring. She also intends to minor in both General Business and Spanish.

Estefania is from a humble town known as Ira, Texas. She is involved in multiple organizations at Texas Tech University, such as PEGASUS and Unidos Por Un Mismo Idioma (UMI.) PEGASUS was a great starting point for her seeing as she was a first generation college student. This organization taught her many skills, such as interpersonal as well as organizational skills. In the Fall semester, Estefania will be working as a PEGASUS mentor to further aid those incoming first generation college students. Apart from these organizations, Estefania has served as a founder as well as treasurer for Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA.)
