I recently completed my first book titled, "Succeed In the US of A - A mini guide for new immigrants". This page was created so that my readers would have a way to reach me as well as to learn more about me.
My first degree is in Anthropology/Biochemistry, an unusual major? Yes, but it does make me a lady of diverse and varying interests. Activities I enjoy include reading, writing, travelling and learning from others, just to name a few.
In the past, I have worked with NGOs/Non-Profits in my native country as well as at the United Nations Secretariat in New York City. As a teenager, I was part of a group of five young people chosen to represent my native country at the Beijing+5 Women’s Conference which was held at the UN headquarters in NYC.
I am no stranger to education and advocacy, hence my interest in writing a book specifically for new or potential US immigrants. I desire to help people live fuller, more meaningful lives and I believe that when people are provided with the right information, they are automatically empowered to make the right choices.
I currently reside in New York's Capital District.
