Esther Newman is a public relations specialist located within the Washington D.C. area. Newman is responsible for the global media relations, public relations, expertise branding, special events and digital social media platforms for her clients. She has proven experience in leading people through organizational change, strategic communications and organizational planning, crisis communications, media relations, key stakeholder outreach and digital engagement.

Among her clients, Esther Newman directly represents Dr. Julia Nesheiwat, U.S. Presidential Deputy Envoy for Hostage Affairs, U.S. Department of State and Micheal G. Waltz, CEO of Mettis Solutions LLC, Fox News Contributor. Her selected clients work within national security, foreign affairs, climate change, renewable energy, nuclear security, veteran affairs and military affairs.

Earlier in her career, Newman was the Strategic Communications Specialist for the Office of State Senator Richard Stuart, where she directed the foundational political communications platform to strategically influence public knowledge, beliefs, and action on Virginia political matters. She has assisted with strategic planning and operations of SAMHSA Children’s Mental Health Initiative.

Esther has an understanding of the ever-evolving social media landscape, staying on top of industry trends and techniques. Her awareness allows for innovative approaches to optimizing local, regional, national and international visibility. Most importantly, her campaigns create engaging and community building content.

With her home-base in Mclean, VA, Esther studied Mandarin and international business at Beijing Language and Cultural University in Beijing, China and Shanghai University in Shanghai, China, while frequently visiting other parts of the country. She is also an active member of the Washington Women in Public Relations group. Newman graduated from Thomas Edison State University with a B.A. in International Studies and a minor in Chinese Language and Cultural Studies. She has also visited Inner Mongolia, Japan, Canada, Iceland, Jamaica, Mexico, France, Morocco, and Qatar.
