Ethan Katz

I am an Assistant Professor of History at the University of Cincinnati, where I am also affiliated and active in the departments of Judaic Studies and Romance Languages and Literatures.My specific research interests include the lived history of belonging and exclusion in European nation-states and empires, Jewish-Muslim relations, the colony-metropole relationship, Muslims in Europe, and sacrality and the secular in modern times.
